FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Is this course recognised in Ireland?
Yes. The course is delivered under the QQI framework — the Irish State quality and qualifications body — and follows the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, Chapter 4. It is assessed by a QQI Level 6 Certified Manual Handling Instructor and satisfies the employer's training duty under section 69 of the Act.
How much does it cost?
€35 once-off for individuals — no subscriptions, no surprise fees. Team rates from €28 per seat (5+ workers). Refresher recertification is €25.
Where can a Manual Handling certificate take me?
It's a baseline requirement for warehouse roles (Amazon, DSV, DPD, DHL), healthcare assistants (HSE, nursing homes), construction, retail stockroom (Tesco, Dunnes, Lidl), hospitality and delivery driving. Recruiters in Ireland will rarely shortlist candidates without one.
How long does it take to complete?
Most learners finish the theory in under 30 minutes and can be fully certified the same day. You also have 60 days of access if you prefer to take your time.
How long is the certificate valid?
Three years — the standard validity accepted by Irish employers, recruiters and auditors, in line with HSA guidance.
Can I enrol my whole team?
Yes — the Team plan covers 5 or more workers with bulk enrolment, an audit-ready record dashboard, and refresher reminders. Contact us for 25+ seats.
Do you offer discount codes?
Yes — partner creators and recruiters can issue discount codes to their audience. If you've received a code, just enter it at checkout. To become a partner yourself, see our Partners page.
