1. The course
By enrolling you receive access to the Pro Handling Ireland online course, including theoretical materials, demonstration videos and the theory examination.
2. Certification
A certificate is issued only on successful completion of the theory exam (80% pass mark), reviewed under the supervision of a QQI Certified Instructor. The certificate is QQI-aligned and references the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, Chapter 4.
3. Refunds
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Ireland), you have a 14-day cooling-off period from purchase. Once you have started consuming digital course content the right to withdraw is waived, in line with section 116 of the Act.
4. Acceptable use
Course content, demonstration videos and assessment materials are licensed for personal use only. They may not be redistributed, resold or used to deliver training to other parties.
5. Payment and pricing
Course fees are shown in euro and are inclusive of any applicable Irish VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card details. A receipt is sent by email after purchase, and a VAT invoice is available on request to hello@prohandlingireland.com.
6. Account and access
Your account is personal and may not be shared or transferred. Course access remains available for 12 months from the date of enrolment so you can complete the theory exam and download your certificate.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish or EU law. Subject to those rights, Pro Handling Ireland's total liability arising out of or in connection with the course is limited to the amount you paid for the course. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date last updated. Material changes that affect your existing enrolment will be notified by email to the address on your account.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction. For questions about the course, your account or these terms, contact hello@prohandlingireland.com.
10. Intellectual property
All course materials — written content, demonstration videos, slide decks, quizzes, assessment rubrics and the Pro Handling Ireland name and logo — are the intellectual property of Pro Handling Ireland or its licensors and are protected by Irish and international copyright law. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the materials for your own learning during your enrolment. You may not copy, download (except where a download is expressly provided), record, screen-capture, republish, broadcast, sublicense, sell or use any part of the materials to train other people or to create derivative works without our prior written consent.
11. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, withhold a certificate or revoke an issued certificate where we reasonably believe you have: shared account credentials, redistributed course materials, submitted assessment answers that are not your own, impersonated another person, attempted to circumvent assessment integrity controls, or otherwise materially breached these terms. Where the breach is capable of remedy we will notify you by email and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond before taking action. Where we terminate for cause, refunds are at our discretion and statutory consumer rights are unaffected. You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@prohandlingireland.com.
12. Dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact hello@prohandlingireland.com first — most issues are resolved within ten working days. If we cannot resolve the matter, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or refer the matter to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) in Ireland. Nothing in this clause prevents you from bringing proceedings in the Irish courts as set out in section 9.
13. Accessibility
We aim to make our course accessible to as many learners as possible and work towards the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard. Demonstration videos include captions, content is keyboard navigable, and the platform supports common screen readers. If you encounter a barrier — for example you need a transcript, an alternative format or extra time on the theory exam — please email hello@prohandlingireland.com and we will work with you to provide a suitable alternative at no extra cost.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the full agreement between you and Pro Handling Ireland.
